This stunning vintage 1960s floral gown by Quad features dramatic balloon sleeves. Quad is one of my all-time favourite boutiques from the 60s, although very little is known about the brand. It is believed to be a medium-range high-street label, comparable to Richard Shops and Dollyrockers, and was renowned for its distinctive style. Today, Quad is a highly sought-after label.
The gown showcases a low-cut V-neckline, a deep waistband, and a free-flowing skirt. The exaggerated balloon sleeves have deep cuffs that fasten with hooks and eyes. The striking print features blooming flowers amidst a sea of delicate florals, and the gown fastens with a zipper in the back.
